Getting Back to Work – NYC/NJ

With NYC and NJ getting back to work, we want our members and friends to be on the cutting edge of production safety and Covid compliance. The situation in the Tri State Area is fluid. There are new protocols for those who work Union or non-Union, in film, television, commercials, or digital media.  

Our experienced panel will discuss what live events, remote productions, sound stage, and location shooting currently look like, and what we can expect in the near future. We’ll also cover how people are shooting in a region that has both unique benefits and challenges in production in terms of incentives, rules, and resources.

During this moderated panel discussion, Getting Back to Work – NYC/NJ Edition, we will be joined by Jennifer Lenihan Assistant Commissioner, Production Resources and Administration NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, Veronica Heffron, DGA 2nd 2nd Assistant Director & Covid Compliance Officer, Melissa Hill, Producer “Kid’s Choice Awards”, and David W. Schoner Jr., Associate Director for the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission who will share their insight and experiences producing and working in the time of Covid. Women in Media’s Executive Director, Tema Staig, will moderate this discussion.
