Pitch Prep ~ Complimentary for Reel/Forward Ticket Holders

Women In Media is hosting a virtual pitch prep with Emmy Awards winning director/producer Mary Lou Belli. This master class will prepare you to nail that elevator pitch not just at Reel/Forward Production Conference, but beyond!

This event is complimentary for Reel/Forward Ticket Holders.

Zoom Room Pitch Practice

After Mary Lou’s seminar, there will be zoom rooms to practice with seasoned pros such as Deborah Pratt and Allison Vanore. This seminar is not mandatory to pitch at the Reel/Forward Production Conference – this is a special perk to learn from seasoned pros to put your best foot forward. Practicing your pitch is also voluntary. Folks who took this class last year had a definite advantage!

We will prioritize Zoom Room practice to those who are selected to pitch at the conference. There will also be alternates in case someone misses their time slot. Apply to pitch at Reel/Forward here.

Practice or Observe

All are welcome to this online seminar, and you do not have to be a WiM member to observe – please get your ticket below. We will be sending a comp code for Pitch Practice to all Reel/Forward attendees who have their ticket(s) before September 18th. We have begun the selection process, so don’t delay. Spots are limited. We will send the Zoom link closer to the date.

9/26 and 9/27 at The Reel/Forward Conference

* Each pitch presenter will have two minutes tops to pitch one project
* There will be two – three minutes for the audience (producers, sales agents, and other guests) to ask you questions about your project
* You must have a ticket(s) to the Reel/Forward Conference for entry to Speed Pitching
*  You may only pitch one project at Reel/Forward
* If you do not show up to the pitch session as doors open, you forfeit your spot to an alternate
* We only share your contact information and CrewList Profile if you opt-in, in case they want to inquire further. Make sure your CrewList is up to date. Guidelines here
* There will also be time to meet people at the after party and throughout the conference
