MEMBERSHIP

Women In Media members are getting hired. In the last year, the CrewList search engine was visited 7,500 times. Through our training, special events, and networking, our members are engaging in proven strategies to gain the recognition they need to rise in the entertainment industry. Our membership hires and recommends each other, and bond as friends and colleagues. Outside organizations partner with us to pipeline more women and gender non-conforming folks into behind the scenes roles. Members also receive a special newsletter dedicated to them with first dibs on events, comps, invitations to outside events, and special deals that are not in the community wide newsletter.

Vetted Membership

As a Pro, Student, or Executive Member of Women in Media you unlock VIP access to special events, targeted initiatives, networking, professional development, members-only newsletters, exclusive video content, and more! Experience levels range from seasoned professionals to entry-level students. 

Once you have applied, it can take a few days to get vetted. Please watch your email for your acceptance letter, which will have instructions for submitting the yearly dues. You will then have the opportunity to add your photos. Your profile will not be active in the search without them. Once you are a full-fledged member, you can log in to reveal discounts, gain access to the jobs board, and other perks of membership. When you join Women in Media, you are investing in our year-­round work toward gender parity, above and below the line in all departments, on every crew, on every show.  Check out the membership levels below to determine which one works best for you.
