With Los Angeles getting back to work, we want our members and friends to be on the cutting edge of production safety and Covid compliance. The situation in the Los Angeles area is fluid. There are new protocols in place for those who work Union and non-Union, in film, television, commercials, or digital media.  

Our experienced panel will discuss what live events, remote productions, sound stage, and location shooting currently look like, and what we can expect in the near future. We’ll also cover how people are shooting in a region that has both unique benefits and challenges in production in terms of rules and resources.

During this moderated panel discussion, Getting Back to Work – Los Angeles, we will be joined by Jennifer Morelos, Operations Support Lead at FilmLA, Scottie Jeanette Madden, Showrunner/Executive Producer (Discovery’s Land Rush, Dude, You’re Screwed), and Director (PROUD in The Pandemic), Alesia Glidewell, Director/Creative Lead (We Rise, Target commercials for Mitú), Bianca Halpern, Owner, BECiNE Camera Rental, and Tara Anne, Owner Protect Your Set, who will share their insight and experiences producing and working in the time of Covid. Women in Media’s Executive Director, Tema Staig, will moderate this discussion.
