Luncheon Reception Presented By Television City and FilmCraft

The WiM produced CAMERAderie Initiative film, Smashed screened at the Burbank International Film Festival on September 10, 2022. Women in Media hosted the Smashed Reception immediately following the screening. The filmmakers, friends, VIP’s, and family showed up fierce and fabulous for the black carpet. We enjoyed lunch, a special toast, and two panels that featured key above and below the line filmmakers.

About The CAMERAderie Initiative

Smashed was made as part of the CAMERAderie Initiative, which encompassed the production (each film is a 3-day shoot), post production, delivery & a VIP Black Carpet Screening & Award Ceremony of the greenlit CAMERAderie films.  Many department heads had mentors and received prizes to enhance their kits and other professional goals.  The filmmakers have all signed the Parity In Action pledge, and their shoots have all female department heads plus 70% + women crews.
