Women In Media Member Appreciation Pool Party

WIM and Birns and Sawyer invite our members to an exclusive members only pool party.  No agenda, just chillin by the pool. In addition to relaxing, there will also be the opportunity to make new friends and spend time with your WiM crew. Bring your swim suit, suntan lotion, beach blanket, a towel, and get ready to unwind and socialize with your fellow members over nibbles and drinks.

Relationship Building

Many members make both strong social and professional connections from these events due to our tried and true 40 second introductions. You do not have to participate, but it is a wonderful way to make new friends and workmates very quickly. There will be a contact sheet for those who opt in. Please make sure that your CrewList profile is up to date and looking spiffy. CrewList guidelines are here. We suggest that you go out to coffee or lunch with at least 3 – 4 members (or more!) beyond the event.

*This event is free and open to Women In Media members with a CrewList profile. The party is in Burbank, California. Exact address will be sent to participants as we get closer to the event.

1pm  Welcome remarks
1:15 – 2 PM 40 second introductions
(slate your name, your crew position, and a want, need, or offer)
2 PM – 4 PM Chillin’ ‘n’ swimmin’
