Join us for a General Meeting and Virtual Writers Group. We are getting the WiM membership together via Zoom to introduce future collaborators and make new friends. No matter where you live, you are encouraged to join us!

All Members Meeting

5:30 PM PST We’ll kick off the meeting with a short presentation about the perks of WiM membership. Then we will welcome new members and provide networking opportunities. Feel free to enjoy dinner and a cocktail in the comfort of your home during this informal virtual event. Members from all disciplines are welcome to participate!

Writers Groups

6:45 PM PST We’ll present suggestions for running writers groups. Then we will host breakout Zoom rooms where you can connect with potential collaborators. Whether you’re already in a group, looking for a new one, or haven’t found a group yet, all Women in Media writers are welcome.

Writers Group Description

Connect with other WiM members in a virtual setting where you can seek and offer inspiration, critique, and support on scripts, outlines, and treatments. More about WiM Writers Groups here.

Writers Groups are open only to WiM members. You need a Women In Media profile (included in membership), so we recommend updating it using our guidelines. We’ll share your profile with other group members. To apply for membership, visit: https://womennmedia.com/request-membership/.

Note: As a condition of participation, members acknowledge that their involvement with a WiM Writers Group is completely voluntary. Women in Media is not responsible for the management or operation of the Writers Groups. How To Attend the Meeting

There is no cost to be in WiM Writers Groups, or to attend this meeting. However, you must be a Women In Media member. We will send the Zoom link closer to the event date. Please RSVP here.
