Vittoria is a Los Angeles-based Italian cinematographer who has shot projects across the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean. Her work has been showcased at 100+ international film festivals, museums, and theaters, including Berlinale, SXSW, Clermont-Ferrand, Sitges, Hot Docs, Mountainfilm Festival Telluride, and Palm Springs ShortFest, and featured in The New Yorker, Deadline, and IndieWire. She has multiple Vimeo Staff Picks and is a 2020 ASC Vision Program and Film Independent Project Involve cinematography fellow. She has three feature films to her credit, including Manhood (dir. Daniel Lombroso), premiering at SXSW, and Better Life (dir. Jessica Liu), starring Randall Park and Ming-Na Wen. She won the Best Cinematography Award at the Micheaux Film Festival for her first feature Young King (dir. Bryant Griffin), now streaming on Amazon Prime. Her short Make Me a Pizza won the Kodak Excellence in Analog Film Award at Proof Film Festival and has received over 3 million views online. Beyond cinematography, she writes and directs her own films; her short Dye Red won Best Experimental Narrative Short at the 51st Nashville Film Festival. Additionally, she participated in the Playlab residency in Peru, where she directed a film shot in the Amazon forest under the mentorship of renowned Thai filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul. She loves shooting on film and is an SR3 S16mm camera owner.
