In the spring of 2019, Women In Media created the CAMERAderie Initiative, a platform to support the emerging voices, creative talents, and untapped potential of female filmmakers. Our community had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, networking, mentorship, and professional development via production of three short films, with post production sound and color at NBC Universal Studios, culminating in a black carpet reception and screening of the three finalist films in October, with prizes from sponsors BlackmagicDesign, Saramonic, Quasar Science, Cinelease, Sigma Lenses, and more.
