Level Up Pathway to Camera Union Membership

Feb 11 | 8:00 am Feb 12 | 5:00 pm PST

Join Women In Media and BECiNE for this two day learning and networking event, designed to level up more women and gender nonconforming folks towards Local 600 camera union membership. We will be focusing on Utility and Loader crew positions, as an excellent entry point towards getting your union days. Learn from union members with a hands on technical skills class. There will be in-depth information on how to best leverage those skills for success. Union leaders will join us for a special panel on Sunday, so bring your questions.

There will also be a networking event with those in a position to hire or pipeline you towards other union focused programs. If you are interested in having your contact information shared with other attendees, DEI, HR, and others in a position to further your career, please “opt in” when you get your tickets. We will only be including WiM members with CrewList links in the contact sheet, so please be sure that yours is updated. If you need to apply for WiM membership, please do so here. Women In Media members log in for discount code below.

Breakfast, lunch and Day Two cocktail party are included in the price of admission. Level Up training on day one is limited, so get your tickets ASAP to save your spot. Tickets are non refundable, and cannot be exchanged.

WiM Certification

In order to get WiM Certified (optional), you must be a Women In Media member, attend both days, and pass the exam. We will be keeping a list of those who get WiM certified to pass on to those in a position to hire, DEI and HR departments. This certification will be a great recognition to add to your CrewList profile.

Saturday, February 11th

Join us for a focused hands-on training day with experienced Utility and Loader trainers. You will learn media management, camera reports, time sheets, loss and damage reports amongst other critical skills. Please take notes and dress as if you are on set.
