****CANCELLED****We have all, no doubt, watched (with concern) as the numbers of COVID cases climb daily through Los Angeles County and the world. We, as the leadership of Women In Media have always put our members, our creative community and our world as our first priority. It is in this light that we have decided to cancel this Saturday’s Kick-off event. This is a gamble that we feel is just not worth the risk.Â
We will reschedule this event for later this year. Thank you again to Arri and LA Film Boutique for the generous support.
We know you understand and we hope this effort will keep your crews safer and healthier as we near production on CAMERAderie.Â

Production for the Women in Media CAMERAderie films is almost here so it’s time for our kick-off event where you’ll mingle with your peers and hear from vendors and manufacturers about the hottest tools in Hollywood.
WiM and partners have a full morning planned for the crews of MOON, CHARLIE AND THE HUNT, SMASHED, and NOOR hosted by Arri and LA Film Boutique.

CAMERADERIE 2021
The CAMERAderie Initiative 2021 Lab is in progress and will shoot in Los Angeles in August. This year is even more ambitious. We’ve partnered with Arri to provide camera, lenses and lights, The MBS Group to provide training in grip, electric, and carpentry as well as shooting on their sound stages, and generous donation of G&E via MBS Equipment Co.
