We are so proud of director, Maritte Go and the Women In Media members who made ILLIPINO happen. We were thrilled to support the filmmakers above and below the line with gear, insurance, and mentorship as well as education to enhance their skills as we made their high production value shorts. Filmmakers were awarded prizes to boost their kits and help them move up in the entertainment industry. Thank you to the vendor partners who supported the CAMERAderie Initiative. About The CAMERAderie Initiative

The CAMERAderie Initiative is Women In Media’s script to screen platform that supports the emerging voices, creative talents, and untapped potential of women, women-identifying, and gender non-conforming filmmakers. Through Women In Media’s CAMERAderie Initiative, our community gains experience and support through networking, mentorship, and professional development.

We have produced 7 films through the CAMERAderie Initiative. Each film crew had at least 70% WiM members. Our CAMERAderie projects have been screened at over 60 festivals world-wide. Our participants have become more marketable as a result of the program, getting work, joining unions.
