About the CAMERAderie: Act One Writers Convention
The event we’ve all been waiting for is here! The Virtual CAMERAderie: Act One Writers Convention will take place throughout the weekend of October 24 – 25, 2020. We are so pleased to be able to share the knowledge and experience of our esteemed guest speakers and educators, ensuring that the content is relevant and valuable to writers at every stage of development. We have eight comprehensive events planned for you over the course of the two separately ticketed days.
All filmmakers are invited to this jam-packed weekend of keynotes, panels, educational seminars, networking, and opportunities to build their industry relationships. The Writers Convention will also give our CAMERAderie: Act One Semi-Finalists the support and tools they need to submit their scripts for the final round of judging. We hope that all of our participants, whether you are semi-finalists, VIP members, or a member of our greater community will leave the weekend filled with a passion for storytelling, inspired and excited to get your projects ready for production. All genders encouraged to join us!
We highly recommend getting tickets for both CAMERAderie: Act One Writers Convention days, as we do expect to sell out. Please be on time for each class, as we will be starting on time. Eat a healthy breakfast, keep the coffee nearby, and get ready to roll up your sleeves!
There will be contest giveaways as well. You must be present to win with a member with a crew list profile by 10/22/20). Apply for membership here
