Grace Colby has a background in design, technology, and filmmaking. Her master’s degree at MIT concerned Artificial Intelligence and design. She was a co-founder of Art Technology Group, an internet e-commerce software company. There she was the Vice President of Design, managing a team of 30 designers. 

Ms. Colby has made her own short films. She is an executive producer of the documentary feature ‘The New Bauhaus’ which premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival.  She is also an associate producer of ‘Little Men’ which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. 

Grace has served on the advisory board of the Institute of Design at Illinois Tech and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston. She is currently developing a course about artificial intelligence for designers.
