The Women In Media community got together for an above and below the line networking event plus a Women in Media Live Writers Group! Many thanks to our hosts – First Entertainment Credit Union.

The event started with a networking breakfast and introductions for crew. It was followed by an update on CAMERAderie Features. Next, there was a panel with special guests. Following the panel, the special guests and audience gave advice and critiques during the table reads.

DeWalt Tools Giveaway!

Members of Art and Grip Departments walked away with two big canvas bags of DeWalt tools. Thanks to the WiM Tools To Work Initiative, courtesy of DeWalt Grow the Trades. Each kit is comprised of two canvas bags filled with 10+ tools that you need on and off set. The objective is to help women in the crafts build their kits to help them get work.

What we enjoyed:
* Brunch networking with new friends and colleagues
* A celebrity panel who will share insights on craft, career growth, and pivoting in the industry
* The ability to join a Women In Media writers group (for members only)
