On January 7th, Women in Media hosted a #HireTheseWomen lunch at Canon Burbank that connected women in the camera, electric, and grip departments, including ACs, Grips, Gaffers, Drone Ops, Electrics, DITs, Steadicam, to working Cinematographers in a position to refer or hire them right now.

Nancy Schreiber, Ava Berkofksy, Quyen Tran, Joe White, Alan Caso, Cybel Martin, Kira Kelly, and John Smith were in attendance. Local 600‘s Xiomara Comrie and IATSE’s Vanessa Holtgrewe were also on hand to answer questions about navigating unions for those already in the ICG and those who wish to join.
