Start 2026 on a high note by connecting with fellow Women in Media members in a welcoming, supportive virtual environment. This is a members’ only event, using the transparency of the WiM CrewList to make at least one new buddy. This interactive online networking event is designed to help you build meaningful relationships and expand your professional community.

We highly recommend that you reach out to folks in advance of the meeting via direct message. You can message them using the button on their CrewList profile. People will be checking you out, so make sure that your profile is up to date and looking spiffy. Crewlist Guidelines can be found here.

What to Expect

• Everyone does 30 second self intros. Slate your name, job title, and a professional want, need, or offer (pick one)
• Make a note of people who you would like to meet
• Small-group Zoom rooms
• A relaxed, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere
• New connections to carry with you into 2026

After our 30 second intros, participants will be placed into small breakout groups, creating an intimate setting for meeting potential collaborators. After the event, we will furnish all participants with a contact sheet so that you may meet with your buddy/s for coffee, lunch, or virtually for ongoing relationship building. You can check in with each other beyond the meeting, but that is entirely up to you.

Whether you’re new to the community or a longtime member, this is a great opportunity to meet others and begin the year inspired and connected.

We will only share the contact sheet with participants. If you do not show up, you will not receive the contact sheet. Your RSVP is your consent to have the contact sheet shared with the other people in the Zoom Room.

There is no charge for this event, but please RSVP and be a WiM PRO or student member with an up to date CrewList profile.
