Equally happy wandering the forests of the Pacific Northwest, riding mototaxis along the equator or finding camaraderie on a film set – Sika Stanton values curiosity, adaptability and discovery in the filmmaking process. She enjoys creating immersive, purposeful and inclusive experiences both in front of and behind the lens. As an IATSE Local 600 Digital Utility, Stanton worked her way onto a number of episodic, commercial and feature film projects including SHRILL, PIG and DOCUMENTARY NOW!. Her creative background spans narrative and documentary film, commercials, music videos and art photography. She earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and recently completed her MFA in Cinematography at the AFI Conservatory. Sika works as a cinematographer, operator and camera assistant on non-union projects.
