Chelsea Shepherd is a seasoned unscripted television producer and production manager with an even longer history in the camera department as a Director of Photography. Most recently, she produced and production managed Shudder’s Queer for Fear, a four part docuseries about the horror genre as seen through the LGBTQ+ lens (recently nominated for “Best Documentary” by GLAAD). Prior to production managing, Chelsea was a field producer and camerawoman for NBC, KNBC, KIRO, CNBC, KCTV, Global Television, MSN, and WSOC. Her favorite camera credits include Hoarders (9 seasons) and Samantha Brown’s Places to Love (2 seasons).
In Chelsea’s spare time, she puts her Executive MPA to work volunteering as a nonprofit executive consultant, helping nonprofits create fiscal and strategic planning as well as writing individual project proposals for organizations. Somehow, she still finds time to play and coach roller derby. Chelsea has a twisted love of putting out fires, fundraising, spreadsheets, mentoring, and multi-tasking.
