Ally May is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles and New York. Her brand is emotionally haunted characters, forced to grow beyond their trauma. Her portfolio is a combination of narrative and experimental work and include commercials and PSA's.
Ally’s films and scripts have been selected by dozens of festivals including the Oscar qualifying Flicker Rhode Island International Film Fest, HollyShorts Festival and San Francisco International Film festival. She won Best Director in the Female Feedback Film Festival and California Shorts Festival and California Indies Festival.
In addition to independent films, she works as a screenwriter and commercial director and is currently creator/show runner of a web series titled BERNADETTE THE BRAVE.
