January 7th, 2018 – Canon, Burbank
Women below the line face a stiff barrier to entry in the film, commercial, and tv industries, due to a catch 22 – If people don’t know you, they won’t hire you; If they haven’t hired you, they don’t know you. We aim to break down that barricade one group lunch at a time. We’re starting with the Camera, Grip & Electric Departments.
Women In Media & Canon have teamed up to introduce more women in the crew to working Cinematographers. The concept is simple. We will be inviting women Gaffers, Electrics, Key Grips, Dolly Grips, Camera Operators, 1st AC’s and 2nd AC’s to meet with busy, working, in-demand DP’s over an informal lunch hosted by Canon Burbank.
Date: Sunday January 7th
Time: 11:30 AM – 2pm
Where: Canon Burbank
No charge for this event
Invited DP’s will do a final vetting. If you are interested, please fill out the form below by December 20th – but don’t delay, we are filling up the slots now.
