Venus LeoneMembership and Outreach Coordinator

Fluent in seven languages, Italian born, half-Brazilian, mixed racial, raised in Switzerland – Venus is a force to be reckoned with. She realized her passion for the arts at the age of four when she started training classical ballet and painting in preschool. Growing up multicultural, Venus was influenced by a variety of music genres, people and food. At sixteen, she started songwriting and recording music. Due to an ACL tear at the end of secondary school, Venus was forced to give up her ballet dreams and went on to study business and economics. During a successful career in business and insurance services, she joined a dance crew, kept competing, working on music and touring. She has created songs with living legends like Swiss producer Lou “Geniuz” Zarra, American singer/songwriter Reggie Calloway (Midnight Star) and LA producer Nikil Narayan featuring beats by George Clinton (Funkadelics). Since moving to Los Angeles, Venus has acted in a movie with Ice T, was the lead villain in a sci-fi, an abused French girl in a drama, the alien voice and language inventor of a stop motion picture character and as if that was not enough, she went back to school for sound engineer, graduated as valedictorian, assisted Grammy award winning engineer Brian Warwick at recording a musical theater music album, produced her own Grammy considered second album eYe.Passion and has recorded, edited, mixed and sound designed award winning film productions. Occasionally, she performs Samba with OYA Brazil Samba Show and has choreographed winning dances for cheerleading groups as well as movies. Now, she is one of the new hosts of Get It Girl on LATV and has enrolled into the Valley Community College to study physics and piano… Is NASA hiring?
