Stacey Smith is an experienced producer and business affairs executive who brings a unique perspective to her work in independent film. She began her career on Wall Street, where she was involved in film and cable television financings, most notably Silver Screen Partners IV — a fund that financed over 30 films for the Walt Disney Company. In 1997 Ms. Smith began her longtime association with internationally renowned and fiercely independent filmmaker Jim Jarmusch. Over the next 16 years, she produced and served as business affairs executive for all of his films, overseeing the financing, production and distribution. She continues to manage all aspects of his library of award-winning classic films. At CinePointe Advisors, Ms. Smith acts as "in-house" business and financial affairs advisor for producers and investors in film.
