Direction, Post Production, Production, Writer
I'm a stand up comedian and writer. I sorta fell into directing and producing as a means to make work when there was none. I love being able to take a project from idea to finished product.

Sophia was born outside Washigton, D.C. to a loud, proud family of Greek immigrants who made it impossible for her to blend in with her peers in school. Sooo… now she does comedy.

She lives in Los Angeles, where she performs stand-up throughout the city. She’s studied at The Groundlings, UCB, and iO West, where she was a part various house sketch teams and a murder-mystery improv team. She has written numerous web series and shorts, including her short film “Thanksgiving ’99” which won the ‘Audience Choice’ and ‘Best Use of Character’ Awards at the Los Angeles 48 Hr Film Festival. She was also chosen to write for the CBS Diversity showcase which brought up-and-coming writers and actors to perform comedy sketches in front of an industry crowd.

When not writing and performing, you can find Sophia watching “RuPaul’s Drag Race” while shaking her finger at the screen and screaming things like, “You betta worrrrrrrk!”
