Direction, Production, Writer
Martha started as a journalist (NBC News, ABC News) but the lure of making up her own stories was too hard to resist. She crossed over to narrative film and television and has never looked back.

Martha is currently prepping a short as a teaser to a longer project. She's always writing, creating and looking for interesting stories to tell, as a writer, director or producer. She has always considered herself a storyteller, as an award-winning journalist or a narrative director/writer. She has worked in such far-flung places as Pakistan, Cambodia, Mozambique, Mexico and Texas, and jokes that she’s had guns pointed at her in nine different languages!
Her news background led to a string of film opportunities, including UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL, VOLCANO, DEEP IMPACT, ENEMY OF THE STATE, THE NEGOTIATOR, an HBO film, as well as a John Wells NBC pilot. Her AFI Directing Workshop for Women short, GLORY GIRL qualified for Oscar consideration.
She dabbled in visual effects directing a 3D documentary on the origins of the universe, then did an about face directing a successful short on her iPhone.
