Jen has been running around with a camera stuck to her face since the age of twelve. A photography merit badge in Girl Scouts sparked her love of film and light, which grew to include filmmaking and led her to study cinematography at Columbia College Chicago. She has been shooting union and non-union scripted, documentary, music video, and commercial subjects on film and digital for the last sixteen years and is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild Local 600 and the Society of Camera Operators. Her work has appeared on Amazon, Netflix, CNN, Showtime, PBS, A&E, The Food Network, and Discovery, among others, as well as numerous film festivals including SXSW, HotDocs, and OutFest. She currently hangs her light meter in Los Angeles and is happy to travel. When she’s not working, she can usually be found at a Pearl Jam concert. With a camera, of course.
