Ioana Vasile is a cinematographer who is dedicated to her role in helping the director find the strongest visual language for every project. Born in Romania, her family sought refuge in Canada where she grew up and fell in love with stories and the visual arts. After moving to Los Angeles, she was fortunate to become an ASC Vision Mentee in 2021 and soon after earned a masters at the American Film Institute. To date, she has shot a wide range of projects from feature films, to music videos, commercials, and pilots. Her latest feature, The Dead Thing (dir: Elric Kane) was released this Valentines Day through Shudder and AMC+. Ioana currently lives and works out of LA.
