Rise Up Animation
Award-winning composer and virtuoso pianist Wan Rosalind Wong is the consummate renaissance woman. As a concert pianist, her playing is recognized for its poetic landscapes. As a versatile composer, her compositions have appeared in both classical and commercial settings.
Rosalind became the youngest to graduate with a doctorate in music from UCLA, where she was teaching fellow on full scholarship. Her interest in story-telling and film media drew her to the accomplishment of triple bachelors of art in music, English (emphasis on screenwriting), and communication studies.
Dr. Wong writes music under the guidance of Grammy-Award winning composer Richard Danielpour. As a mentee of the Women In Animation (WIA) 2020-2021 mentorship circle, Rosalind received mentorship and training from Catherine Joy.
Since recently joining the music industry as a media composer, she has completed more than six projects both in video-game animations, shorts, and commercials-- some of which have garnered a cult following on YouTube.
