Starting out in 1999 as a multimedia intern I worked my way up to senior creative director over the course of 8 years creating a multitude of digital games and videos about science and technology for educational outreach at the University of California, San Diego. Then I moved into web production management in 2007 for Professor Phil Borne at UCSD, where I led a team of creative and technical staff to develop a social media website developed for professors and students to share their science via a web portal that paired video with online journal publications and scientific posters. In 2009, I moved to a new university in Saudi Arabia, KAUST, where I began working with graduate-level academic researchers creating videos about novel discoveries that were featured at international conferences, supercomputer centers and visualization laboratories. In 2015, I began working for KAUST creative marketing and communications on a science video series promoting novel research discoveries and educational science outreach.
