Giving Tuesday is Tuesday November 29th. Spreading the word about our mission through a fundraising campaign from our amazing members and supporters will make this a huge success! We are a 501c3 and eligible to be chosen for donation campaigns on Instagram and Facebook as well as direct donations. With women’s rights under attack, gender parity in the workforce is more important than ever. Women in Media has been in the vanguard of parity and inclusion for women working behind the scenes, where the majority of the jobs are. Women have been largely shut out of many crew jobs, but WiM has been paving a pathway towards success and sustainable jobs. They have made huge progress since they became a non-profit in 2017 and we must continue the effort so that we don’t slide back. We continue educating and elevating women through CAMERAderie Lab ~ a series of virtual conferences focused on pre production, workflow/post, and distribution. Your contribution will help us make the education, mentorship, and networking that culminates in the shooting of these high production value shorts a reality.
