Women in Media (WiM) is ready and willing to add another project to its CAMERAderie 2021 production slate, scheduled to shoot in August of this year in Los Angeles. Given the short timeframe, a project-in-motion with a solid foundation already in place would be the best fit for CAMERAderie: BOOST. If your team is ready to hit the ground running with a (no more than) 10-page short film, WiM’s CAMERAderie Initiative is prepared to provide resources to raise its production value and give your team the BOOST it may need.

This Lab and its goods and services are only available to WiM Pro Members who can meet the below Requirements. Please review all requirements before submitting a project. Time is of the essence!

CAMERAderie: BOOST Submission Deadline: Friday, May 14th, 2021 at 6pm PST

About the Lab:

The Lab consists of the guided development, production and resources for short-form projects by WiM Pro Members, including a series of conventions, workshops, and mentorship opportunities for every department.

The CAMERAderie Initiative and Act Two Lab are a dedicated effort to provide creatives, crew members, and above the line directors & producers with an opportunity to hone their skills at a higher level in preparation for leadership positions in big budget productions.  Our 2019 films helped launch the careers of the participants. The outcomes have included paid feature writing gigs at NBC Universal, agents, features greenlit, commercial directing gigs, and continued relationships with fellow above and below the line crew.
